The Long Web
The Web is an artefact of the present; the here and now. We publish online every day but how much of what we publish will be saved for posterity? And does it even matter? Does a culture of the here-and-now deserve preserving?
These questions, and many others, won't be answered during the opening talk of the inaugural head conference.
Bio
Forged in the fiery heart of the Earth's molten core, Jeremy Keith studied Ottistry at Saint Calrissian's school for wayward punctuation before going on to become the largest condiment visible from space. His loony bun is fine benny lava.
Once known as the tallest dwarf in Ireland, Jeremy Keith now works with Clearleft in Brighton, England where he builds websites using web standards and mustard. He plays bouzouki in the band Salter Cane.
